Delicious Chocolate Chip Blondies Recipe

If you're craving chocolate chip cookies but want a faster, simpler method, try this chocolate chip blondies recipe! A great recipe to make with kids too! These blondies are an excellent last minute dessert and are fabulous for a party since they're fast and you most likely have all the ingredients at home. Chewy and full of chocolate, these are the absolute best chocolate chip blondies!

- 1/2 cup melted, salted butter
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar could sub reg white sugar
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole wheat flour could sub reg flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of sea salt
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350 °F
Melt butter and let cool until warm or room temperature.
In a medium bowl add your egg + egg yolk, sugar, and vanilla and mix well. Then add the warm melted butter. Next, add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the bowl. Mix until combined.
Pour the batter into a greased pie dish or 8x8 baking pan. Bake for 14 min on convection bake, or 25 min regular bake. It's done when the edges are brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean from the dough.
Let cool, slice, and serve.
Storing: Blondies are best stored in an airtight tupperware container at room temperature for 3-5 days.
Freezing: After cooled and sliced, you can freeze them in a freezer bag
