This energizing cold brew protein shake blends coffee, chocolate protein, banana, and peanut butter for an unbelievably delicious drink! To make this coffee smoothie even healthier, I added frozen spinach and hemp seeds for added nutrients, and don’t worry you don’t even taste them.

Just like my butterfinger protein smoothie, this shake is so satisfying you won’t believe it’s healthy!

Here’s What You Need

  • coffee: You can buy cold brew or you can do what I did and make extra coffee the morning before then let it cool and refrigerate it until you make your smoothie.
  • chocolate protein powder: Whey or plant-based, use your favorite!
  • peanut butter: Most of us know chocolate and peanut butter pair beautifully together but adding coffee takes it to another level! So good!
  • frozen banana: It doesn’t have to be frozen but it will make it thicker and creamier. Just make sure your banana is ripe for extra sweetness.
  • frozen spinach: I add spinach to every smoothie because it’s an easy way to add vitamins and nutrients and I promise you won’t even taste it.
  • hemp seeds: Adds extra protein, fiber, and healthy fats without altering the taste.
  • milk: I like using unsweetened almond milk in my smoothies but any milk will work.
  • ice cubes: Ice will give your smoothie a thicker consistency and make it really cold.

Making the most of a couple quiet hours before hea Making the most of a couple quiet hours before heading back to mom life🤍

Sometimes all I need is an errand run, an Aloha bar, lots of water, and a little time to myself.

If you had two hours to yourself today, what would you do? ✨

Save this one for your next party! 🥣✨

I’ve been bringing this artichoke dip to family gatherings and parties for over a decade, and every single time someone asks me for the recipe.

It’s only 4 ingredients, takes just a few minutes to throw together, and comes out creamy, cheesy, and so delicious.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 cup olive oil mayo
• 2 large cans artichoke hearts, drained & chopped
• ¼ tsp garlic powder

Mix everything together, bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, and serve warm with crackers.

Our sweet girl is TWO 💛🌸 This birthday felt espec Our sweet girl is TWO 💛🌸

This birthday felt especially meaningful.

Two years ago, she arrived early and spent her first few days in the NICU while we waited to bring her home.

Watching her run around, laugh, play, and celebrate with the people who love her most… it’s hard to put into words how grateful I feel🥹

I also did something different this year. Instead of worrying about making everything perfect, I was simply present. I soaked in the little moments, watched her smile, and let myself enjoy the day.

Those are the memories I want to keep.

Happy 2nd birthday, Amirah. You are loved more than you’ll ever know🌈🩷

I make a homemade birthday cake for my kids every I make a homemade birthday cake for my kids every year. 🩷

It’s nothing fancy—I use a boxed cake mix and store-bought frosting, and I’m definitely not a professional cake decorator.

But every year I put so much thought, time, and love into making something just for them❤️

It’s one of the little traditions that means a lot to me, and one of the ways I get to show them how loved they are on their special day.

And honestly… birthdays feel special for us moms too. Watching them grow is the greatest gift, even if it means they’re growing up way too fast 🥹🎂

I know this isn’t everyone’s experience, and that’ I know this isn’t everyone’s experience, and that’s okay. 🤍

But every summer since Isaiah started school, I’ve found myself looking forward to having him home🥹

The slower mornings, the walks, the popsicles, the beach days, the little adventures, and even the ordinary afternoons together.

I know these summers won’t last forever, so I’m trying to soak up as many of these moments as I can while they’re here. ☀️

If you’re feeling the same, I’d love to know—what’s your favorite part of summer with your kids? #summerdays #momlife #mamaoftwo #slowsummerdays #ordinarysummer
