Blondie recipes are super simple to make and much easier than cookies and this is the best blondie recipe for Christmas! Adding the red & green M&Ms makes these traditional blondies into a festive holiday treat! Great for holiday parties, Christmas cookie swaps, gifts, and beyond! They are prepped and baked in under 30 minutes.

What Exactly Are Holiday Blondies? Blondies vs. Brownies

They’re a cross between a cookie and a brownie, my favorites! Blondies are chewy and sweet like a cookie but are dense like brownies. They’re also made in a brownie dish, so the process is much faster and less clean up than if you were to make cookies.

This really is a delicious Christmas cookie bar recipe that everyone will love! Warm and gooey straight out of the oven pairs well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Or at room temperature, once they’re firm, they will be chewy and still so scrumptious!

I’ve made this for my afternoon snack almost every day for the past three weeks. It satisfies my sweet tooth, has about 12g of protein, actually keeps me full until dinner, and takes less than 2 minutes to make.

✨ Cookie Dough Protein Bowl ✨

• 1 tsp peanut butter
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use @orgain Simple)
• 1 tbsp oat flour
• Pinch of salt
• 3 tbsp milk (I use unsweetened almond milk)

Mix everything together, then fold in:

• 1 tbsp chocolate chips

That’s it. 🤎

Save this one for those afternoons when you want something sweet but still filling🍪

If you try it, let me know what you think!
